Margaritaville Lake Resort

This resort is right in the bank of Lake Conroe and spread out to a distance with many amenities like golf, boating, Outdoor water parks, restaurants and trails with sports activities. Its a family friendly place with great rooms. Spacious and Clean. Service could improve for customers with information needed. Communication can be more friendly. There are no indoor parks or pools. Two outdoor pools are heated for winter. Overall experience was great because family had fun.

It’s always a joy staying at Margaritaville Lake resort we have been coming here for years I through in 2 images lol from a few years ago. Clean rooms, great service, and an awesome location on the lake is perfect for business and it makes it super convenient for a staycation too. We keep our boat stored at the marina here so we’re constantly staying and turning it into a little vacation whenever we want to take the boat out on the lake. As the owner of MaxResto it’s not always easy to find time to slow down and enjoy family time but this place makes it simple. We also just attended a wonderful Conroe Chamber of Commerce event for the chairman‘s ball which was beautifully done by the chamber and we enjoyed our stay as always, highly recommend!

My wife and I have been members of the resort for quite a few years. We always enjoy our visits. It's a great lakeside resort. We get coffee and breakfast quite often at Merchant Joe's. There are two employees/ baristas that stand out for their excellent service skills. The first is Ashley Racca. She is always polite, professional and friendly. She does small things that mean alot. She smiles and greets us by name even though we may not visit for months at a time. She remembers we are members, and always gets our orders correctly and quickly no matter how busyShe is definitely an asset to the resort. She always gives 5 star service. The other person who always gives us 5 star service is Reece.(Forgot his last name. He usually works mornings. Just like Ashley, he is always friendly, polite and professional, and always provides exceptional service, even during the busy hectic morning hours. They both deserve recognition for excellent customer service, working well under pressure and having a caring attitude. We hope this helps them get it. D&G James

This was my first visit to the resort. Everything was amazing. I was there to celebrate my b-day. I received a text a week before my visit from Shelly. She answered all my questions which was very convenient. I was there Feb 15-17, very peaceful & not a lot of people because it's considered Winter. Not all pools & restaurants are open. It was warm during the day & chilly at night. 1 pool was heated & the hot tub was available. You do have to pay for parking. I self-parked at $10 a day, it was cheaper than valet. I live an hour 1/2 from the resort. I will definitely be back.

I have had a great time. Your staff is top notch Erick, John,Stephanie and Karla really made me feel welcomed. This was the 2nd time we were with you as a large corporate group. Great service, food, environment, friendly staff, who is always welcoming. Maybe next year we will be able to visit you again.

My wife and I stayed at the resort for three nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. During our stay, we had dinner at the License to Chill restaurant on the second floor, where Gavin and Erick provided phenomenal service. They were attentive, friendly, and made our evening truly enjoyable. At the bar, John and Kevin delivered excellent service as well, always making sure our glasses were full and that we were taken care of. We also visited the Starbucks on campus, where Tyler and Martha provided outstanding service. Janicia was a fantastic host and added to the welcoming atmosphere.

John delivered absolutely top-tier service from start to finish. Professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about the experience. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. And the drinks? Next level. Every pour was smooth, balanced, and ridiculously good. You can taste the quality and the effort behind it. If you’re looking for great service and even better drinks, John is your guy. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Housekeeping does a solid job of keeping things fresh, and the spaces feel cared for rather than worn down. One area that could use improvement is the bathroom design, especially in the bath/shower area, where the lack of a proper door or enclosure can lead to water splashing all over the floor. It is a practical inconvenience but not a deal-breaker, and bringing extra towels helps manage the issue. Service is friendly and generally helpful, though it can feel a bit limited at times depending on what you need and when. Staff members are polite and do their best, but the overall service level comes across as okay rather than truly full-service or highly attentive. Overall, this resort is a great choice if you value a clean, well-maintained place to relax by the lake and do not mind a few quirks in bathroom practicality and somewhat limited service. With its tidy rooms and pleasant environment, it still makes for an enjoyable and positive getaway.
